GIMA takes part in stomping out obesity

On April eighteenth, Gwinnett Internal Medicine Associates (GIMA) participated in Gwinnett Medical Center’s “Stomping Out Obesity” 5k walk-run. Its purpose is to raise obesity awareness and to promote a healthier lifestyle.

The race took place at Tribble Mill Park in Grayson. Hundreds of participants were present on race day. Thirteen of those participants were employees of Gwinnett Internal Medicine. Everyone had a great time. It was nice to get out and show support for such a great cause.

We strongly encourage everyone to get outside and exercise. We should all strive for a healthier America.
